Olivier & Associates Adds Additional Former State Tax Auditor To Roster
WALL STREET, NY, October 2, 2006 -- Jason Hetzner has joined Olivier & Associates as a Sales and Use Tax expert.

Hetzner will work in the firm's Wall Street office where he'll serve as a Sales Tax specialist and an assistant to the firm's senior-level Sales and Use Tax principals.
Before joining Oliver & Associates, Hetzner worked for four years as a Sales Tax Auditor for the State of Maryland Comptroller's Office. He gained a wealth of experience there and quickly moved up the promotion ladder while executing his job
responsibilities which included:
- Conducting field audits of business tax returns to determine accuracy and compliance with sales tax reporting regulations
- Interpreting and applying the State's revenue law to various business situations
- Investigating for fraudulent tax practices through interviews, site visits and audit procedures
- Conducting interviews and conferences with taxpayers and their representatives to obtain explanations for apparent discrepancies, discuss audit results, and recommend corrective actions
- Researching tax law through law books, court decisions and tax bulletins

Hetzner earned his MBA in Accounting from Loyola College, Maryland, and his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Towson University, Maryland.
